In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Anthony Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.

With the win, St. Anthony upgrades its record to 20-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Dieterich (Dieterich, IL) to play the Movin Maroons in a National Trail challenge on Monday, October 6. The Movin Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 6-15. Dieterich lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Altamont (Altamont, IL)

Next, the Maple Leafs face the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights (Arthur, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 4. Geneseo will attempt to advance on its 13-8 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 15-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL).
