The Orioles (18-13) will now prepare for their contest against Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 2-16 record. In their last battle, Carson City-Crystal achieved victory over Merrill (Merrill, MI), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Flying G's now own a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bay City Western for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Gladwin will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Dow (Midland, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 15-12.
