Illinois High School Volleyball - Hammond Central can't hold off Thornwood

In Saturday's non-league match, the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Thunderbirds battle the Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 4. Thornwood will attempt to move on its 15-12 season record. The Meteors enter the match with a 12-14 record after their 2-0 league win over Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL).

The Wolves (14-11) will now prepare for their match against Hobart (Hobart, IN). The Brickies enter the non-league match with a 11-15 record. In their last match, Hobart held off Highland (Highland, IN), 3-0, in a league match.
