The Sugar-Salem Diggers topped the visiting Horseshoe Bend Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Diggers confront the Butte County Pirates (Arco, ID) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 4. Sugar-Salem will attempt to advance on its 11-13 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 15-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Murtaugh (Murtaugh, ID).

The Mustangs (13-5) will now prepare for their game against Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID). The Titans go into the 1A Long Pin game with a 8-11 record. In their last outing, Tri-Valley was topped by Salmon River (Riggins, ID), 3-0, in a league outing.
