The James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV) volleyball knocked off the host Sherman Tide (Seth, WV), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Mavericks now possess a 23-7 record. They play next when they travel to Williamstown for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. James Monroe will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 league win over South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-9.
