Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Jemison Panthers (Jemison, AL) and the host Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL), observed Jemison's volleyball team top Mae Jemison by a count of 2-0.

The Panthers (25-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Patriots go into the non-league battle with a 10-18 record. In their last battle, Hillcrest dropped by Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Jaguars now own a 0-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hale County for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4.
