Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) and the visiting San Rafael Bulldogs (San Rafael, CA), observed Las Lomas's volleyball team top San Rafael by a count of 2-0.

The Knights (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Dons enter the Diablo-Foothill contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Acalanes notched a victory over College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Novato Hornets (Novato, CA) in a Marin County contest, on Wednesday, October 8. San Rafael will attempt to improve on its 21-3 season record. The Hornets go into the battle with a 9-12 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Oakland Tech (Oakland, CA).
