Illinois High School Volleyball - Olympia Lena-Winslow

Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lena-Winslow advances its record to 12-11 on the season. The Panthers travel to Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL) to face the Indians in a Northwest Upstate Illini test on Tuesday, October 7. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Pecatonica won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Forreston (Forreston, IL)

Next, the Spartans play the Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL) in a Sangamo challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Olympia will attempt to upgrade on its 13-14 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 16-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL).
