Martin County Tigers (Stuart, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Lyman Greyhounds (Longwood, FL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Moore Haven (Moore Haven, FL). The Terriers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Moore Haven got by Glades Day (Belle Glade, FL), 3-1, in a league test.
The Greyhounds now own a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockledge for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Lyman will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Titusville (Titusville, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-9.
