High School Volleyball - Tournament Opponent over Mercer

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Tournament Opponent (, ) and the visiting Mercer Tigers (Mercer, WI), observed Tournament Opponent's volleyball team top Mercer by a count of 2-0.

The (86-227) will now prepare for their contest against Calhoun Christian (Battle Creek, MI). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Calhoun Christian notched a victory over Heritage Christian Academy (Kalamazoo, MI), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Mellen Granite Diggers (Mellen, WI) in a Indianhead - East contest, on Monday, October 6. Mercer will attempt to move on its 4-20 season record. The Granite Diggers enter the contest with a 13-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Chequamegon (Park Falls, WI).
