Arizona High School Volleyball - Minooka over Salpointe Catholic

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Minooka Indians (Minooka, IL) and the host Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ), observed Minooka's volleyball team top Salpointe Catholic by a count of 2-0.

The Indians (19-7) will now prepare for their contest against Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Tigers enter the Southwest Prairie contest with a 26-3 record. In their last contest, Joliet West notched a victory over Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lancers battle the Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A - Kino battle, on Tuesday, October 14. Salpointe Catholic will attempt to improve on its 21-6 season record. The Cougars go into the battle with a 9-17 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cholla (Tucson, AZ).
