The Valley Lutheran Chargers volleyball team (Saginaw, MI), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's league contest with the host Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI)

The Oilers (21-4) will now prepare for their contest against Roscommon (Roscommon, MI). The Bucks enter the non-league contest with a 29-1 record. In their last contest, Roscommon beat McBain (McBain, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Chargers meet the Carrollton Cavaliers (Carrollton, MI) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 8. Valley Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 29-5 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 24-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI).
