In Saturday's non-league match, the Norris City-Omaha-Enfield Fighting Cardinals (Norris City, IL) volleyball squad prevailed the host Murphysboro Red Devils (Murphysboro, IL), by a final score of 2-0.

The Fighting Cardinals now possess a 23-1 record. They play next when they travel to Marion for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. Norris City-Omaha-Enfield will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Gallatin County (Junction, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-11.
