North Woods grizzlies (Cook, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the host Two Harbors Agates (Two Harbors, MN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The grizzlies (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bigfork (Bigfork, MN). The Huskies enter the Arrowhead challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Bigfork was tipped by Laporte (Laporte, MN), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Agates face the Bigfork Huskies (Bigfork, MN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Two Harbors will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 1-13 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Laporte (Laporte, MN).
