In Saturday's non-league bout, the St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) volleyball team knocked off the host Port Gibson Blue Waves (Port Gibson, MS), by a margin of 3-0.
The Fighting Irish now possess a 23-17 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 7. St. Patrick will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 29-11.
With the loss, Port Gibson drops to 7-9 on the campaign.
