Colorado High School Volleyball - The Academy can't hold off Prairie View

October 4, 2025: Henderson, CO 80640

The Prairie View Thunderhawks held off the visiting The Academy Wildcats volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Thunderhawks now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster for a 5A/4A Rocky Mountain bout on Tuesday, October 7. Prairie View will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Northglenn (Northglenn, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, The Academy drops to 5-9 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Prospect Ridge Academy (Broomfield, CO) to confront the Miners in a 3A/2A Metro match on Thursday, October 9. The Miners enter the match with a record of 12-1. Prospect Ridge Academy won 3-1 in their recent league match against St. Mary's Academy (Englewood, CO)
