The Skyview Hawks volleyball squad (Nampa, ID), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA)

With the win, Redondo Union improves its record to 22-5 on the season. The Sea Hawks host El Segundo (El Segundo, CA) to meet the Eagles in a Bay contest on Tuesday, October 7. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 12-3. El Segundo won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Torrance (Torrance, CA)

Next, the Hawks meet the Eagle Mustangs (Eagle, ID) in a 6A Southern Idaho contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Skyview will attempt to upgrade on its 19-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the test with a 14-10 record after their 3-1 league win over Owyhee (Meridian, ID).
