In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sedgwick Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Sabetha Bluejays.
The Cardinals (22-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS). The Kaws come into the non-league challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Perry-Lecompton edged St. Marys (St. Marys, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bluejays meet the Silver Lake Eagles (Silver Lake, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Sabetha will attempt to upgrade on its 2-21 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 26-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS).
