Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Francis tips Sandburg

October 4, 2025: Orland Park, IL 60462

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Francis Spartans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Sandburg Eagles.

The Spartans (18-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA). The Cajuns enter the non-league challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Metairie Park Country Day got by Slidell (Slidell, LA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Sandburg will attempt to improve on its 5-17 season record. The Fillies/Broncos go into the test with a 12-7 record after their 2-0 league win over Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).
