In Saturday's non-league match, the South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR) volleyball squad tipped the host Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Axe battle the Lakeridge Pacers (Lake Oswego, OR) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 4. South Eugene will attempt to move on its 14-1 season record. The Pacers enter the match with a 7-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR).
The Apollos (10-11) will now prepare for their match against Century (Hillsboro, OR). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Century got by McMinnville (McMinnville, OR), 3-2, in a league contest.
