Spearville Lancers (Spearville, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers (21-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Medicine Lodge (Medicine Lodge, KS). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 25-1 record. In their last challenge, Medicine Lodge beat Attica (Attica, KS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Sublette Larks (Sublette, KS) in a Hi-Plains challenge, on Monday, October 6. Stanton County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Larks come into the challenge with a 4-22 record after their 2-0 league win over Elkhart (Elkhart, KS).
