In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks.

The Monarchs (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Wichita County (Leoti, KS). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Wichita County beat Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Thunderhawks meet the Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Wheatland-Grinnell will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 2-1 league win over Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS).
