Spring-Ford Rams (Royersford, PA) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Governor Mifflin Mustangs (Shillington, PA), 1-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spring-Ford moves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA) to battle the Vikings in a Pioneer bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Perkiomen Valley lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Boyertown (Boyertown, PA)

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Wilson Bulldogs (West Lawn, PA) in a Berks County 1 bout, on Monday, October 10. Governor Mifflin will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cocalico (Denver, PA).
