Triad Math and Science Academy Tigers (Greensboro, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host The Burlington School Spartans (Burlington, NC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers face the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Triad Math and Science Academy will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC).

The Spartans now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carolina Friends for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 7. The Burlington School will face a Quakers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill (Durham, NC). The Quakers record now stands at 7-5.
