The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) and the host Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE), saw Pius X's softball squad achieve victory over Omaha North by a count of 12-0.
The Thunderbolts now sport a 21-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln Southeast for a A District match on Wednesday, October 5. Pius X will face a Knights squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Knights record now stands at 6-27.
With the loss, Omaha North falls to 3-16 on the campaign.
