The Archbishop Riordan Crusaders volleyball team (San Francisco, CA), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Castilleja Gators (Palo Alto, CA)
The Gators (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mercy (Burlingame, CA). The Crusaders enter the West Bay - Foothill challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Mercy defeated Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Crusaders encounter the Central Catholic Raiders (Modesto, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 8. Archbishop Riordan will attempt to move on its 9-11 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Sierra (Manteca, CA).
