Virginia High School Volleyball - Bishop O'Connell over Virginia Academy

Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Virginia Academy Patriots (Ashburn, VA), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Knights clash with the Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA) in a Washington Catholic match, on Thursday, October 6. Bishop O'Connell will attempt to advance on its 18-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 7-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC).

With the loss, Virginia Academy drops to 17-9 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA) to clash with the Kings in a non-league match on Saturday, October 8. The Kings come into the match with a record of 10-4.
