The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) and the host Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), saw Lincoln's volleyball squad nip Rogers by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Lions host St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI) to play the Saints in a Division 2 bout on Tuesday, October 11. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 5-3. St. Raphael Academy won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI)

The Vikings now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Chariho for a Division 2 bout on Friday, October 7. Rogers will play a Chargers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Chargers record now stands at 9-0.
