In Thursday's league game, the Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ) football team smashed the visiting Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ), by a final score of 42-0.

The Bobcats (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ). The Stampede come into the 5A Metro game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Fairfax was trounced by South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ), 21-14, in a league game.

The Bruins now hold a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host North for a 5A Metro game on Friday, October 20. Browne will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 27-26 league win over Camelback (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-4.
