In Thursday's league match, the host Show Low Cougars football squad scored a good 26-7 victory over the Fountain Hills Falcons.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Monument Valley Mustangs (Kayenta, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 13. Show Low will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 35-0 league win over Ganado (Ganado, AZ).
