The Iowa Yellowjackets football squad scored 40 points and restricted the host South Beauregard Knights to 30 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westlake for a 3A District 3 battle on Thursday, October 12. Iowa will play a Rams squad coming off a 46-13 league loss to St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA). The Rams record now stands at 3-3.

Coming up next, the Knights play the Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA) in a 3A District 3 battle, on Friday, October 13. South Beauregard will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 4-2 record after their 31-0 league win over Kinder (Kinder, LA).
