In Thursday's league match, the host Little Wound Mustangs football squad scored a big 50-14 victory over the Red Cloud Crusaders.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, NE) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 12. Little Wound will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
The Crusaders (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Thorpes enter the All-Nations - West (9 Man) battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Pine Ridge was overwhelmed by Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa (Eagle Butte, SD), 30-22, in a non-league battle.
