Nebraska High School Football - Maxwell held off by Perkins County

In Thursday's league game, the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) football team tipped the host Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE), by a final score of 44-38.

The Plainsmen (6-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE). The Irish come into the D1 District 10 (8 Man) game with a 7-0 record. In their last game, St. Patrick's got by Maxwell (Maxwell, NE), 68-14, in a league game.

The Wildcats now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sutherland for a D1 District 10 (8 Man) game on Friday, October 13. Maxwell will battle a Sailors team coming off a 46-2 league loss to Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE). The Sailors record now stands at 1-6.
