In Thursday's league match, the host McLean County Cougars football squad scored a good 30-16 victory over the Webster County Trojans.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a 3A District 1 match, on Friday, October 20. McLean County will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 40-14 league loss to Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY).
