The Sunset Bison football team (Dallas, TX), was ripped 76-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX)
The Trojans (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Royals come into the 5A-1 Region II District 5 challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Richland trounced Turner (Carrollton, TX), 63-0, in a league challenge.
The Bison now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Birdville for a 5A-1 Region II District 5 challenge on Friday, October 13. Sunset will face a Hawks squad coming off a 49-8 league win over Molina (Dallas, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 2-4.
