Sandhills Valley Mavericks (Stapleton, NE) fans left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their football team rout the visiting Sutherland Sailors (Sutherland, NE), 46-2 in a league test.

With the win, Sandhills Valley improves its record to 1-6 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE) to confront the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, October 13. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 6-1. Arapahoe won 54-8 in their recent league test against Southern Valley (Oxford, NE)

With the loss, Sutherland moves to 1-6 on the season. The Sailors host Maxwell (Maxwell, NE) to confront the Wildcats in a D1 District 10 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 13. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-4. Maxwell lost 44-38 in their recent league test against Perkins County (Grant, NE)
