Illinois High School Football - Schlarman routed by St. Anne

The Schlarman Hilltoppers football team (Danville, IL), was ripped 63-16 in Thursday's league challenge with the host St. Anne Cardinals (St. Anne, IL)

The Cardinals (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL). The Sabers come into the 8-Man Central 1 (8 Man) challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, St. Thomas More trounced Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL), 62-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon for a 8-Man Central 1 (8 Man) challenge on Saturday, October 14. Schlarman will meet a team coming off a 52-12 non-league loss to Polo (Polo, IL). The record now stands at 2-5.
