Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they saw their football team top the host Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), 36-24 in a non-league challenge.
The Cavaliers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Robinson was knocked off by West Springfield (Springfield, VA), 14-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Robinson for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 19.
