California High School Football - Oakmont tips Ponderosa

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) and the host Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), observed Oakmont's football squad edge Ponderosa by a count of 21-14.

The Vikings now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a contest on Thursday, October 12. Oakmont will encounter a Fighting Zebras squad coming off a 19-0 league win over Placer (Auburn, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 5-2.

Coming up next, the Bruins encounter the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) in a contest, on Thursday, October 12. Ponderosa will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 44-0 league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA).
