West Lafayette Red Devils (West Lafayette, IN) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils confront the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. West Lafayette will attempt to move on its 14-1 season record. The Kougars enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 1-0 non-league win over New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN).
The Bombers now possess a 9-3 record.
