In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Windber Ramblers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Southern Rams.
The Ramblers (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA). The Spartans go into the Inter County - South battle with a 13-0 record. In their last battle, McConnellsburg nipped Everett (Everett, PA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Rams (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Preston was nudged by Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV), 3-0, in a league battle.
