Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians confront the Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Wayne Valley will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Passaic (Passaic, NJ).

The Hilltoppers now have a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Governor Livingston for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 10. Summit will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Brearley (Kenilworth, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 2-7.
