In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Lubbock-Cooper Pirates football squad scored a close 20-16 victory over the Amarillo Sandies.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 12. Lubbock-Cooper will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
The Sandies (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record.
