The Apollo Hawks football team (Glendale, AZ), was knocked off 49-21 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ)

The Stallions (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Mountain Ridge knocked off Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ), 7-0, in a league challenge.

The Hawks now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ironwood for a challenge on Thursday, November 2.
