The Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL) football defeated the host Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL), 20-10 in Thursday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wolves face the Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 7. Niles West will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 35-21 non-league win over Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL).
The Giants (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL). The Blue Demons enter the bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Maine East lost by Niles North (Skokie, IL), 42-6, in a non-league bout.
