In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Hough Huskies football squad scored a good 22-0 victory over the West Charlotte Lions.

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 12. Hough will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Mavericks enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 55-6 non-league win over Harding University (Charlotte, NC).
