The Manistee Chippewas football team (Manistee, MI), was beaten 37-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Shelby Tigers (Shelby, MI)
The Tigers (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mason County Central (Scottville, MI). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record.
The Chippewas now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Montague for a challenge on Thursday, October 12. Manistee will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 33-26 non-league win over Fremont (Fremont, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-0.
