The North Davidson Black Knights football team (Lexington, NC), was knocked off 34-13 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Grizzlies (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Ledford was knocked off by Montgomery Central (Troy, NC), 32-12, in a non-league challenge.

The Black Knights now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Asheboro for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 12. North Davidson will meet a Blue Comets team coming off a 22-20 non-league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Blue Comets record now stands at 3-4.
