The Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes volleyball team (Spring Hill, FL), was dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL)

The Gryphons (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Bloomingdale (Valrico, FL). The Bulls enter the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, Bloomingdale defeated Wharton (Tampa, FL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hurricanes meet the Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL).
