The Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC) volleyball were winner over the visiting Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

With the win, Forsyth Country Day betters its record to 1-0 on the year. The Furies host Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Cougars in a test on Thursday, October 12. The Cougars enter the test with a record of 1-0.

The Firebirds (10-10) will now prepare for their test against Shining Light Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 0-5 record.
